Fair prices

Again and again, we are asked why our prices are so expensive compared to conventional products. We would like to answer this question as transparently as possible.

Raw material

Our raw material konjac is obtained from the konjac plant. However, this plant only grows in Asia and is more expensive to cultivate than wheat.

Quality

We could have our products produced cheaply in China. However, we want to deliver the highest possible quality. Therefore, we have the products made according to EU regulations and invest in regular laboratory tests.

Transport routes

Due to the fact that konjac only grows in Asia, we currently have our noodles and rice produced in Indonesia. The transport routes to Germany are thus more expensive.

Staff and team

Once our products arrive in Germany, they are processed by a sheltered workshop in Berlin, where the packaging is carefully labeled and shipped.

Personal support

We are a small team, answering all your questions, researching new recipe ideas, and coming up with exciting new products.

Sustainable packaging

We use recyclable packaging made of mono plastic for our pasta and rice. This means that they can be completely disposed of and recycled in the yellow sack.

Climate neutral shipping

Our packages are shipped CO2 neutral.

Social contribution

For each package sold, we invest in social projects, such as planting trees.

Weight

At first glance, our products seem more expensive than comparable wet products made of konjac. However, once prepared, our noodles/rice yield three times the amount.

The product arrived quickly, the quality is amazing (not the slimy wet konjac substitutes that smell fishy). Cooking time is around 12-15 min, so the rice is perfect for making risotto or paella. The pasta is also amazing with some good carbonara, pesto or bolognese! They are perfect for a keto or low-carb lifestyle!

OK this company is amazing. I purchased the konjak rice. I'm on a keto diet so thought this would be perfect for me. It was amazing ! Easy to cook and honestly the closest thing to actual rice I've tried so far. And I've tried alot of products. Egg fried rice is my favourite dish because frying the konjak rice makes it that bit more crispier and rice like. Anyway, delivery was fast, Communication too. The only thing I would say is that they should provide the booklet that is also delivered, in English as well as German.. for those who don't speak German. But it was easy to cook so it didn't make a difference THANK YOU SHILEO, I've ordered another set. :)

Excellent support. Fast delivery. Low carb. Products are high quality (dried instead of preserved in liquid), very delicious and have the perfect texture when prepared as stated. Taste / texture can be compared with glass noodles (in my opinion). Thumbs up and 5+ stars :-) Keep going!
